Major Goals of Training Program
The Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital is an ACGME-accredited program whose goal is to provide trainees with state-of-the-art clinical, research, and educational training to best prepare them for board certification and successful careers as academic allergy and immunology specialists.

Key Features of the Allergy and Immunology Program at UAMS/ACH:

• The program consists of 80% pediatric Allergy and Immunology training completed at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, one of the largest free-standing pediatric hospitals in the United States.

• The program consists of 20% adult Allergy and Immunology training completed at UAMS, the states’ leading and only academic health system.

• The program consists of a staff of 13 clinicians and scientists with various research interests and specialties within the Allergy and Immunology section.

• The length of the program is 2 years, with the option of an additional training year in research.
