Major Goals of Training Program
1st Year: 1) Achieve progressive clinical competence in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of allergic and immunologic disease in adults and children. 2) Understand research methods, the procedures necessary to identify, develop, and write a research protocol with the goal of having a defined research project prior to the research block. 3) Develop an understanding of basic immunology and to become an effective teacher and develop presentation skills.

2nd Year: 1) Achieve mastery of clinical competence to a level that the fellow can practice independently and competently the specialty of allergy and immunology. 2) Complete a well designed research project in either a bench based or clinical/bench based model. 3) Become proficient in knowledge of basic immunology and clinical allergy/immunology.
