Major Goals of Training Program
Fellows receive mostly clinical training in the 1st year through ambulatory and inpatient rotations at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (which includes the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock),  the teaching hospital of Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, which is the fourth oldest medical school in the United States. During the second year of fellowship, trainees will have protected research time to develop skills and expertise in a chosen area with close mentorship.

Joint Residency (Fellowship) Availability
Fellows are eligible to participate in the Leadership Preventive Medicine Residency. This track is tailored for those interested in gaining skills in the assessment of medical outcomes and in leading change and improvements in health care systems. The 3- year track combines Allergy and Immunology fellowship with Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center's acclaimed 2-year Leadership Preventive Medicine Residency program. The practicum project will be performed within the discipline of allergy and immunology. When completed, fellows will be board eligible in Allergy and Immunology and in Preventive Medicine, and will have acquired a Masters in Public Health (MPH) through the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice at Dartmouth College.
