Health Information Technology

The AAAAI is dedicated to supporting its members by providing the latest information and resources on health information technology (HIT).

Complying With the New Information Blocking Rules

We have partnered with AmericanEHR, an organization developed by Cientis Technologies and the American College of Physicians to provide physicians, state and federal agencies, vendors, and funding organizations across the United States with the necessary tools to identify, implement, and effectively use electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare technologies.

The AAAAI Practice Management Resource Guide has a comprehensive chapter that addresses the EHRs and other medical office technologies.

Multiple educational sessions at the AAAAI Annual Meeting are devoted to these topics, and the biennial Practice Management Workshop includes multiple sessions dedicated to health informatics and EHRs.

Included here is a guide for navigating various aspects surrounding EHRs and other HIT.

If you can’t find the answer to your question here, tap into the expertise of the AAAAI’s Practice Management Committee with an email.
