Allergy to azelasatine

Question:

10/15/2018
Is there any available protocol for skin prick and challenge testing to azelastine? My patient has a history of anaphylaxis with diphenhydramine, and failed a skin test to cetirizine. She had severe allergic rhinitis and has started immunotherapy, but I'm trying to find a class of antihistamine that she can tolerate to bring her some relief of symptoms.

Answer:

In searching PubMed, I was not able to find any skin testing protocols for azelastine.
