SMART Defined

MART (Maintenance and Reliever Therapy), sometimes also called SMART (Single Maintenance and Reliever Therapy), is a treatment approach in asthma that uses a combination inhaler containing a fast-acting LABA medication and an inhaled steroid for both symptom relief and daily maintenance.
