Major goals of training program
The section of allergy and immunology at the University of Utah is uniquely housed within the Department of Dermatology. All allergy and immunology faculty are part of this division, including the residency and fellowship training programs. This allows us the ability to provide comprehensive care in the fields of allergy and immunology to patients of all ages and backgrounds, while being in close contact and collaboration with the Department of Dermatology’s faculty and trainees. A collegial atmosphere with room for academic curiosity, clinical growth, educational opportunities and a caring and respectful environment for faculty, trainees, staff and patients alike is central to our mission. As the only academic allergy and immunology group in the state of Utah, we strive to serve as a referral center for complex cases in allergy and immunology throughout the intermountain west, while also providing comprehensive care and dedication to all of our local patients.
