Major Goals of Training Program
The program is a combined internal medicine/pediatric fellowship with entry tracks for individuals who have successfully completed their training in pediatrics or internal medicine. We offer extensive clinical experience in allergic diseases, autoimmune diseases, immune skin diseases, and both congenital and acquired immunodeficiencies. Fellows train in a variety of patient care settings including our 900 bed tertiary referral hospital with attached clinics, private practice settings, and the local VA hospital. All trainees are required to actively participate in research and practice based quality improvement. They are expected present their research projects at national meetings and submit them for publication in peer reviewed journals.
