Your Practice Website

Having an up-to-date, informative website for your practice is a sound business decision. Most Internet users have searched for healthcare information and researched physicians online.

Websites should be clutter free, easy to navigate and done in an easy-to-read font. Some key pieces of information to include on your site are:
•    Your full practice name
•    Your logo
•    Your phone number
•    Hours of operation
•    Directions to your office, including a map
•    What to do in case of emergencies or after hours
•    A brief summary of the care you provide
•    Forms (saves time in the office if patients can download the forms and bring them to the appointment)
•    A “meet the team” page that includes photos, bios and care philosophies of the clinical team
•    Educational brochures, videos, etc.

Every allergy practice is different and there is no “one size fits all” approach to your practice website. Take some time to research what other practices in your area are doing and get a sense of what you like and don’t like. Then determine what you want your website to do for your practice (a medical practice consultant can help with this). Consider hiring a professional website developer to develop your site.
