We run a private pharmacy and get asked about ketoconazol products regarding their allergy-infecting ingredients - specifically the formaldehyde releasers. We searched the databases of several manufacturers and it seems all ketoconazol products contain either Imidurea or quaternium-15. We would like to know if there are any products, shampoos or other typical products available on the market without these ingredients. Also propylene glycol seems prevent people from using ketoconazol. We appreciate your time and effort. Thank you.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Extina is a topical ketoconazole preparation which is a foam. It does not contain any of the excipients mentioned in your inquiry.

Thank you again for your inquiry and we hope this response is helpful to you.
