Is mast cell activation syndrome a contraindication to receiving the influenza vaccine? If not, would any precautions be suggested (ie, premedication, given in a graded fashion, use of preservative free vaccine, etc.)?

Mast cell activation syndrome is not a contraindication to receiving the influenza vaccine, and no special precautions are indicated in its administration in patients with mast cell activating syndrome.
