Integration with EMRs

There are several things to consider when deciding on a platform for telemedicine.

1.    Cost of the service and financial viability.
2.    Ease of integration within existing technology and current EHR
3.    Data security, encryption, privacy (HIPAA)
4.    Ease of use for both patient and provider (front to back-end user interface)
5.    Customer service during all aspects of launch and ongoing support, including patient support, if available.
