None of the said content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, adapted or transmitted in any form or by any means including but not limited to: electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, without the prior written consent of the AAAAI.
Permission requests from government, educational and/or healthcare institutions, the media and non-profit organizations with activities that support the AAAAI mission will be considered on an individual basis. The AAAAI does not typically accept requests from commercial and/or for-profit entities.

AAAAI Website and Social Media Medical Editor - Thanai Pongdee, MD, FAAAAI
Thanai Pongdee, MD, FAAAAI is an allergist / immunologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has an active clinical practice where he cares for adults and children with allergies, asthma and immune deficiencies. He is also involved in clinical research and has presented research findings at local, regional, and national meetings. He is committed to education and assists in the training of medical residents and fellows through the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. Dr. Pongdee is a member of the Advisory Board for the Mayo Clinic Center for Health Care Social Media. Dr. Pongdee is the only allergist / immunologist to be named to this group. Advisory Board members provide advice and feedback to leadership of the center and contribute to the advancement of practical social media application in health care.
Dr. Pongdee received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and medical degree from the University of Kentucky. He completed a combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee at Memphis. He then completed his fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and sons as well as riding his bicycle.
