Family Asthma Act
According to the CDC, in 2012, more than 25,500,000 Americans had been diagnosed with asthma, including an estimated 6,800,000 children. The disease kills more than 3,400 Americans every year.
More education and research on triggers, proper treatment and asthma management methods are needed. Therefore, at the request of Sen. Cory Booker’s (D-NJ) office, the AAAAI has submitted a letter of support for the Family Asthma Act (S. 2804) and continue to work closely with Hart Health Strategies to advance this important piece of legislation.
