Here are a few ideas to help: Educate your class about food allergies. Explain to them: What is a food allergy? What foods are people commonly allergic to? What happens when someone comes into contact with food they are allergic to? How to avoid certain foods Are there any alternatives to these foods? How can a doctor can determine what you are allergic to? Tell your classmates about what to do when someone has an allergic reaction Create a poster with pictures of common foods to be aware of. Create a mini cookbook with alternative recipes for people with food allergies. Make a diagram showing why the body has an allergic reaction, and what happens during the reaction.
