One day immunotherapy protocol for fire ant venom

Summary
The authors of this study presented three cases of fire ant anaphylaxis treated with a one day rush immunotherapy program using whole body extract of fire ants. All were infants. The age range was 22 to 36 months. All had positive skin tests to fire ant.

There were no systemic reactions utilizing the one day protocol.
