Available genetic tests for immunodeficiency disorders

Summary
This article is a valuable asset for physicians wishing to genotype a patient with suspected immunodeficiency. Table 1, which covers six pages, lists the genetic defects which can be typed and the laboratories performing these services.

The authors also give a concise summary of when such genotyping may be indicated, and when it is not helpful. It also discusses the practical aspects of obtaining genotype assessment.
