Module I
    Interpersonal & communication skills
          Resources

Language Resources        The ability to communicate with non-English speaking patients is becoming increasingly important. One approach is to study the language(s) most commonly used in one’s practice site. This can enhance the transfer of information and contribute to better patient care. Such learning also demonstrates cultural sensitivity and provides evidence of work on the competency of interpersonal and communication skills.

This section of the module provides some selected language resources. Documented use of such resources can be used as evidence that this important issue is being addressed in training programs.
