Minneapolis is a family-friendly city with a wide variety of activities and attractions. The city boasts 22 gorgeous lakes, a vibrant downtown area, fine dining and fantastic shopping. You can get virtually anywhere in the city through the climate-controlled skyway system, which connects 80 city blocks over more than 8 miles. Or you can use the light rail system, which connects downtown Minneapolis to the airport, the Mall of America and 17 other stations. Be sure you don’t miss some of the best attractions, including:
