The application deadline is September 4, 2007. PROGRAM GOAL: To provide PhD students and PhD post docs with an opportunity to consider research opportunities in the field of allergy and immunology. PROGRAM OVERVIEW: PhD students and PhD post docs are invited to submit abstracts for presentation at the 2008 AAAAI Annual Meeting, March 14-18, 2008, in Philadelphia, PA. Up to 40 applicants will be selected to participate in the ST*AR Program, which will take place March 13-16 and will include: Presentation of original research by ST*AR Program participants; Presentations on allergy, asthma and immunology research by nationally recognized AAAAI researchers; Discussions about career opportunities in allergy, asthma and immunology research; Attendance at AAAAI Annual Meeting postgraduate program and symposia; Funds for airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodation, and meeting registration. The AAAAI Annual Meeting provides an excellent forum for basic scientists to network with other basic scientists, translational clinical researchers and clinical experts in allergy/immunology.
