AAAAI Assemblies

An AAAAI Assembly is a group of members organized for a common purpose and established by the Board of Directors to denote a specific area of representation or membership category. Membership is automatic based on the defined scope of the Assembly. There are no separate dues for Assemblies.

Currently, there are six AAAAI Assemblies:

Military Allergy Assembly
Federation of the RSLAAIS New Allergist/Immunologist Assembly
International Assembly Program Directors

Benefits of Assembly status:

  • Assemblies may submit programming for the Friday portion of the Annual Meeting.
  • Assemblies are able to develop committees within their structure.
  • The leadership of the Assembly is selected/elected through a process developed by the Assembly and approved by the Board of Directors.
  • It is possible for Assemblies to identify representatives to other committees, if appropriate and approved by the Board of Directors (e.g. Annual Meeting Program Committee, ERT, etc.).
  • Assemblies are able to determine unique benefits of belonging to their group, but must have approval from the Board of Directors and must follow the financial policies of the AAAAI.
  • Any programs seeking outside funding must operate through the appropriate channels of the AAAAI.

For more information on AAAAI Assemblies, please contact Membership Services at (414) 272-6071 or e-mail membership@aaaai.org.
