Associates (Spouses & Friends) to the AAAAI
Since 1982, the Associates (Spouses & Friends) to the AAAAI have provided social events and networking opportunities for the spouses and friends of the AAAAI. The annual program has provided a wide variety of unique and interesting events, and the hospitality suite is great way to network with colleagues.

The Associates have collaborated with the physician and allied health members of the AAAAI on projects like the Award of Excellence in Asthma Scholarship Program, which has awarded nearly $250,000 in scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors since its inception 10 years ago. The Associates have provided patient education programs and continued funding support of the Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Education and Research Trust (ART) with donations over $150,000.

Full membership in the Associates (Spouses & Friends) to the AAAAI is included in each spouse/guest registration fee. Membership includes volunteer opportunities, newsletters, a chance to participate in future programming for the Associates and an online networking membership directory via the AAAAI Web site.

The Board of Directors of the Associates would like to invite you to begin your Annual Meeting experience by joining us for a New Orleans-style breakfast and jazz at Calcasieu Restaurant, directed by the James Beard award-winning chef Donald Link.

This breakfast event is only open to Annual Meeting registered guests. It is a perfect opportunity to experience New Orleans hospitality, enjoy the music of the Joe Simon Jazz Trio and mingle with Associates "stars." This event will also serve as the Associates official Business Meeting. Please Note: Transportation to this event is the responsibility of the attendee. Your ticket is required for entry. Calcasieu is located two blocks from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Hospitality Suite
Trying to figure out what to do to make the most out of your Associates membership experience and your time in New Orleans? Make sure you stop on by the AAAAI/Associates Hospitality Suite, located in the Burgundy Room, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. The hospitality suite will be open beginning on Friday, February 26 to Monday, March 1. Hours of operation are: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm daily. Stop by, have a cup of coffee, and learn how you can help!

What Your $100 Guest Meeting Registration Includes:

  • All guest registrants are automatically members of the Associates (Spouses and Friends) to the AAAAI for a one year period from annual meeting to annual meeting.
  • All those with guest registration badges can enter into the Exhibit Hall
  • All guests registrants can use the Hospitality Suite/Associates Membership Zone!
  • An opportunity to help in making an impact on the allergy/immunology profession by becoming an Associates volunteer
