The city of Philadelphia is a wonderful place to explore and learn. There is an array of fascinating history, as well as an impressive number of sights and attractions. Philadelphia is not only the birthplace of democracy in America, but also boasts the United State’s first zoo. Cultural riches in Philadelphia include gardens, architectural wonders, and a multitude of historical homes. Visit the combination of Philadelphia’s heritage along with its modern style in its numerous museums, cultural centers and performing art venues.In the past 10 years, the nightlife and dining scene in Philadelphia has dramatically grown. Hot spots include neighborhoods such as Bella Vista and Northern Liberties. Philadelphia’s South Street has galleries, restaurants and more, attracting a variety of visitors every day of the week. The Reading Terminal Market is the oldest and continuously operating farmers’ market in the country. Visit the new home of the Liberty Bell, with an X-ray view of the Bell’s crack and inner-workings. Be sure to watch the film by the History Channel to see how the Bell became a national symbol of freedom.

Philadelphia – Transportation
There are a variety of ways to make your way around Philadelphia. Choose between trains, taxis, buses, and the subway to get to your destination.Airport Shuttle Service
Complimentary ProAir HFA/QVAR Shuttle Buses will provide motorcoach transportation from Philadelphia International Airport, Terminals A - F, to official AAAAI Annual Meeting hotels. The courtesy shuttle bus service runs Thursday, March 13, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday, March 14, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday, March 15, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Greeters displaying signs will be located at the bottom of the escalators in the baggage claim area or located near the carousels within the baggage claim area in Terminals A - F. Shuttle greeters will be available at the airport to welcome delegates and answer questions regarding the departure location for the motorcoach transportation.Complimentary airport shuttle service is funded through a grant from Teva Specialty Pharmaceuticals.
Taxi
Taxi stands are located at the airport, as well as most hotels, attractions and shopping centers. Cab fare from the airport into the city is approximately $30*.Subway
The subway system in Philadelphia can get you to your destination for $2* fee. Please note that exact change is necessary.

The Philadelphia International airport is a mere eight miles from downtown. Utilize the Airport Line to get from the airport to center city Philadelphia.
