Prize Information: The top six contestants will perform live. There will be six prizes awarded: Grand prize - $10,000 Second prize - $5,000 Third prize - $2,500 Runner-up prizes - $1,000 per contestant Applicants are required to submit a DVD of three vocal performances based on a Broadway musical, including one ballad, one up-tempo piece and a third vocal performance of their choice, ballad or up-tempo song. Each performance should be no more than three (3) minutes and may be chosen from separate Broadway musicals. Applications must be submitted by December 1, 2006. If selected, contestants will be notified by January 15, 2007, and will perform live on February 24, 2007, at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina during a dinner to benefit allergy and asthma research.
