Join your colleagues for an evening of entertainment and camaraderie while supporting the future of the specialty and the AAAAI’s Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Education and Research Trust (ART) at the 2007 ART Benefit Dinner.

This year’s entertainment will feature a live “sing-off” in the style of the popular television show “American Idol” among six talented performers recruited from universities in the San Diego area. During our celebration of the accomplishments of ART, we will celebrate the accomplishments of these young people by using hand-held electronic voting machines to select our favorite singer---our “Academy Idol.”  Prize money will be distributed to all competitors, with the audience’s favorite receiving the top prize of $10,000.

After the competition, attendees will be invited to stay for continued enjoyment as the musicians who provided accompaniment to the contestants play on for an evening of dancing and socializing.

Proceeds from this fun and entertaining event will go towards supporting the ART’s mission of providing increased funding for education, research and faculty development in Allergy and Immunology (A/I).

The AAAAI’s ART has contributed more than $2.3 million in funds to qualified A/I professionals through its awards programs.  ART awards are essential for maintaining the intellectual capital in A/I and for providing opportunities for the next generation of allergists/immunologists to learn and advance our specialty.

Come share in a night of interactive entertainment and help make a difference in our future.
