Please make your check payable to PGI Inc. All reservations must be received before January 31. After this, please register on site at the Tour Desk. All cancellations or changes must be received in writing via fax (305) 740-9432 before February 10. Additional tour tickets must be purchased for children on all tours in which they wish to participate.
The Tour Desk in the Miami Beach Convention Center will be open beginning at 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 2. Tour capacity is limited. Onsite tour reservations will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
All tours depart from the Miami Beach Convention Center. Participants should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to their tour’s scheduled departure time. Layered clothing and comfortable shoes are recommended for all tours.

Everglades Adventure
Price: $58 per person

Pre-registration required.Experience South Florida’s outdoors with a trip to the Everglades. In this vast area you will discover an abundance and variety of wildlife and plants unique to North America. Visitors to the Everglades are awed by the intriguing beauty of the endless marshes, wet prairies, sloughs and tree islands extending as far as the eye can see. Rare and endangered species like the American Alligator and the Florida Everglade Kite cohabitate with blue-winged and green-winged teals, storks, river otters, bobcats and white-tailed deer. Participants will enjoy becoming naturalists exploring this unusual tropical wilderness.
Guests will take a thrilling airboat ride, skimming through the marshes and saw grass of the Everglades. During the ride, the driver/guide will stop occasionally to let the alligators swim up to the side of the airboat for pictures and to tell participants about the ecological system of the Everglades. Participants will be taken to a private island where they will see a recreated 18th century Seminole Indian village. Guests will be escorted to the alligator pit where a guide will talk briefly about the gator’s attributes. Each participant will receive a chocolate alligator.

Pre-registration required.The world famous Villa Vizcaya, a 16th century Italian Renaissance- styled villa nestled in ten acres of beautifully manicured gardens sits directly on Biscayne Bay. This 70-room palace features fine period furniture, textiles, sculpture and architectural elements from the 15th through the early 19th centuries. Formerly the winter home of James Deering, cofounder of International Harvester Company, its 1914 construction employed 1,000 artisans and took two years to complete. Today the splendid Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, and neoclassical rooms have been restored to their original glory. The superb formal gardens feature many grottos, pools, fountains, and sculptures. The ornate Great Stone Barge acts as a breakwater for Vizcaya’s harbor. Enjoy a unique glimpse of a vanished lifestyle in America, which included extravagant furnishings, lush gardens and exquisite views. Villa Vizcaya is truly magnificent. Miami Beach, FL 33139The Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL), a non-profit organization devoted to preserving, protecting and promoting the cultural, social, economic, environmental and architectural integrity of the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District, offers guided and self-guided walking tours. These tours are developed for the general public and have special appeal to those interested in art, design, architecture, history, preservation, urban and community planning and development. The area features more than 800 historic buildings erected during the 1920s and 1930s, and contains a variety of architectural styles.
Art Deco District Guided Walking Tours
Ninety minute walking tours of Ocean Drive and Beyond, depart from the Art Deco Welcome Center. The tour includes the Art Deco Museum, Casa Casuarina, Old City Hall, Miami Beach Post Office and Art Deco Hotels.

Key Biscayne, FL 33149Crandon Park Visitor and Nature Center is located on the breathtaking barrier island of Key Biscayne, with the Atlantic Ocean on the east side and Biscayne Bay to the west. Visitors to the park can explore the various ecosystems of the Key including the dunes, mangroves, and coastal hammock and seagrass beds; and observe herons, ospreys and many brilliantly colored butterflies. The island is also home to rare and beautiful plants like the beach peanut, Biscayne prickly ash and the coontie.

It attracted artists, writers, musicians and dancers. Today, 80 years later, it is once again the home of those seeking a bohemian lifestyle. Its unusual shops, restaurants and art galleries attract residents and visitors alike.

Miami Beach, FL 33139Lincoln Road is home to a 7 block pedestrian mall on a street stretching from the beach and Atlantic Ocean to Biscayne Bay. It is just a few blocks from the beach and Convention Center and is lively and friendly for people young and old. Folks skate, scoot, bike, or jog from Collins Avenue toward the chichi boutiques and outdoor cafés. The best times to go to Lincoln Road are during Sunday morning farmers’ markets and on weekend evenings when cafés are bustling, art galleries schedule openings, street performers take the stage, and bookstores, import shops and clothing stores are open late.
