Associates (Spouses and Friends) to the AAAAI
Since 1984, the Associates (Spouses and Friends) to the AAAAI have provided social events and opportunities for spouses and friends of the AAAAI. The Associates have been recognized for their contributions by receiving an AAAAI Distinguished Lay Organization Award and an American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Award of Excellence. The organization continues to be involved in a variety of projects including the Award of Excellence Scholarship Program that has awarded over $150,000 in scholarships for graduating high school seniors with asthma, patient education programs and the Education and Research Trust (ERT) of the AAAAI, with donations of over $130,000.
Full membership in the Associates (Spouses and Friends) to the AAAAI is included in each spouse/guest registration. This membership includes newsletters, a chance to participate in future programming for the Associates and an online membership directory via the AAAAI Web site.
Participants must be registered as a spouse/guest in order to attend the scheduled activities.

Associates 3rd Annual “Not-So-Silent” Auction
Each year the Associates hold the “not-so-silent” auction to benefit the Award of Excellence Asthma Scholarship program. Items that are available for bid include jewelry, quilts, art, gift cards to various stores, sports memorabilia, electronic items such as iPOD/MP3 players, and much, much more. Donations to the auction, as well as cash donations toward the scholarship program, will be accepted. Guest Hospitality Suite
All registered guests are welcome to relax in the Guest Hospitality Suite located at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Stop in to rest your feet, reacquaint yourself with old friends and make new ones, and learn more about the Associates and the activities they support within the Allergy/Immunology specialty. The suite is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday, March 3, through Tuesday, March 7.
