Chrysalis Project

Funded through an educational grant from the Allergy Educational Forum.

The Chrysalis Project was developed to increase medical student knowledge about the pathogenesis and treatment of common allergic and immunologic disease, to increase student awareness of training programs in allergy and immunology and to introduce promising students to a field that represents an exciting option in medical education.

This project will send selected medical students to the Annual Meeting, to be paired with experienced fellow-in-training (FIT) mentors. These mentors will meet with the students to answer any questions they have about the specialty and will guide them through the educational sessions and events at the Annual Meeting.

Student selection is based on research experience, publications, presentations, references and a career goals statement. Travel and accommodations will be provided.

For further information regarding the Chrysalis Project, please contact Reaca Pearl at the AAAAI executive office at (414) 272- 6071, e-mail, rpearl@aaaai.org.
