To receive your CME/CE credits from the 2005 Annual Meeting, please visit the online self-report form.

When is the late breaking abstract submission deadline?
The AAAAI is accepting late breaking abstracts beginning October 2005, for possible presentation at the 2006 Annual Meeting. The submission deadline is December 1, 2005. In order to be considered for presentation at the 2006 AAAAI Annual Meeting, abstracts must be submitted via the official online submission Web site, www.annualmeeting.aaaai.org.

How do I submit a late-breaking abstract?
December 1, 2005 is the deadline for submission of late-breaking abstracts. In order to be considered for presentation at the 2006 AAAAI Annual Meeting, late breaking abstracts must be submitted via the official online abstract submission Web site.

What Annual Meeting activities are taking place on Friday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 7?
On both Friday and Tuesday, delegates may attend a full day of educational sessions including dinner symposia. Also on Friday evening, fellows-in-training should plan to attend the Future of the AAAAI Reception.

How do I request a Preliminary Program or a registration form?
Click here to view the Preliminary Program online and/or print a registration form. To request a printed copy, please contact the AAAAI executive office at annualmeeting@aaaai.org or by phone at (414) 272-6071.

Are reduced registration rates available?
AAAAI members - One of the AAAAI membership benefits is reduced registration rate at the Annual Meeting. To become an AAAAI member, please visit the membership section or contact the AAAAI executive office by phone at (414) 272-6071. If you are already an AAAAI member, please visit online registration to register for the meeting at your reduced rate.

International members - New this year, the Annual Meeting Registration Discount Program for Fellows and Members from Developing Countries offers current AAAAI Fellows and members in countries designated as "developing" by the World Bank (based on gross national income per capita) a 50% discount on the General Annual Meeting registration fees at the 2006 Annual Meeting. If you are an AAAAI Fellow or member residing in one of the designated countries, be sure to check the appropriate box of your registration form. For more information on this program, please visit the online preliminary program or contact the AAAAI executive office by phone at (414) 272-6071 or annualmeeting@aaaai.org.

What forms of payment are accepted for registration and housing?
Online and faxed registrations require a credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express. If you register via postal mail, you or your sponsoring organization may issue a check drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. funds to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI).

After submitting my registration form, when can I expect to receive a confirmation letter?
A confirmation of your registration will be sent via postal mail within three weeks after receipt of your registration form. If you do not receive a confirmation within three weeks, please contact the AAAAI executive office by phone at (414) 272-6071 or annualmeeting@aaaai.org.

How do I request a receipt for the meeting?
Your confirmation letter is your receipt for the meeting. Please use your confirmation letter as proof that you have paid your registration fees, have been enrolled in your chosen course(s) and/or will be attending the meeting.

If I have already registered for the Annual Meeting, how do I change my registration?
To cancel your registration, add/drop courses or transfer your registration to another delegate, please contact the AAAAI executive office at annualmeeting@aaaai.org, by phone at (414) 272-6071 or by fax at (414) 272-6070. Please do not attempt to register again online. Submitting multiple registration forms via fax, via postal mail and/or via the Web site will cause delays.

If I cancel my registration, will I receive a refund?
If you cancel your registration before the cancellation deadline, you will receive a refund of your registration fee, minus a $25 administrative fee. The last day to cancel your registration and receive a refund is Wednesday, February 20, 2006.

If I am an international delegate, how do I request a formal invitation letter?
To request a formal invitation letter, please contact the AAAAI executive office at annualmeeting@aaaai.org, by phone at (414) 272-6071 or by fax at (414) 272-6070. We suggest that you request this letter as far in advance as possible in order to successfully secure your visa.

How do I register and reserve hotel accommodations for my group?
The AAAAI will help facilitate group registration and housing for groups of ten or more delegates. If your group is smaller than this, please register and book hotel rooms for your delegates individually. What is the Virtual Annual Meeting and how do I register for it?
The AAAAI is pleased to offer the Virtual Annual Meeting, which includes both live and on-demand Web casts of several Annual Meeting educational sessions. These virtual sessions are exactly the same as the educational sessions attended by Annual Meeting delegates who travel to Miami Beach. The Virtual Annual Meeting gives individuals unable to attend the meeting in person the opportunity to see and hear the excellent science and education presented at the Annual Meeting. It also gives those who attend the opportunity of reflecting on the sessions. For more information or to register for the Virtual Annual Meeting, please visit the Virtual Annual Meeting Web site.

Is onsite registration available for the 2006 AAAAI Annual Meeting?
Yes, you can register onsite at the Registration Desk located at the Miami Beach Convention Center beginning on the afternoon of Thursday, March 2, 2006. If you pre-register, however, your materials will be available for immediate pickup and you will be able to take advantage of the reduced pre-registration fees. While you may register onsite, please remember that sessions fill up quickly and you should register early (in November/December) to have the best chance at receiving all of your chosen sessions.

What are the onsite Registration Desk hours?
For delegates registering prior to the January 31, 2006 deadline, registration packets, including name badges and session tickets, will be ready for pick up at the onsite registration desk, located in the Miami Beach Convention Center. To avoid waiting in line, please be sure to pick up your packet early.

Is it appropriate for my children to attend the Annual Meeting?
The AAAAI asks delegates to refrain from bringing children, spouses or guests to any educational session offered at the Annual Meeting, including dinner symposia. Registered guests are welcome to relax in the Guest Hospitality Suite or visit the Exhibit Hall; however, an adult must accompany children under the age of 18 at all times.

Most Miami Beach hotels can provide their guests with a list of independent babysitters and babysitting agencies frequently used by visitors. For more information, please contact the appropriate hotel.

When is my committee meeting?
Committee meetings are held during the Annual Meeting for the purpose of conducting AAAAI related business. Please see the Preliminary Program for the scheduled committee meetings. Current and newly appointed members of each committee are expected to attend these meetings. If you would like information about joining a particular committee, please contact the AAAAI executive office by phone at (414) 272-6071 or info@aaaai.org.

Does the AAAAI provide shuttle transportation to/from the Miami Beach Convention Center and my hotel?
Complimentary and frequent shuttle service will be provided to all delegates staying at Annual Meeting hotels. More information on routes and service hours will be provided in the Final Program. Shuttle schedules will also be available upon check-in at all Annual Meeting hotels.

Does the AAAAI provide airport transportation?
Miami International Airport (MIA) is the most convenient link to air travel to the 2006 Annual Meeting . It is located approximately 15 miles west of Miami Beach. A taxi from the airport to the Miami Beach hotels costs a flat rate of $28. Taxis are readily available outside the baggage claim area in the lower level at the airport. Super Shuttle service is also available for approximately $14 per person to the Annual Meeting hotels. For more information on Miami International Airport, please visit www.miami-airport.com. Some delegates may prefer to fly into Fort Lauderdale Airport which is approximately 27 miles north of Miami International Airport.

Does the AAAAI offer WiFi and/or Internet Cafes?
Internet access will be available for attendees during the 2006 Annual Meeting at Internet Cafés at the Convention Center. Delegates can also access the Internet using their personal laptop computers in the designated Wi-Fi (HotSpot) areas at the Convention Center. Additional information on the Internet Cafés and Wi-Fi access will be available in the Final Program.
