Each Interest Section has a three-hour activity on Sunday that will include an hour of education, followed by the Interest Section business meeting and a reception. Interest Sections are as follows: ADT (Asthma Diagnosis and Treatment) BCI (Basic and Clinical Immunology) EORD (Environmental and Occupational Respiratory Diseases) FADDA (Food Allergy, Dermatologic Diseases and Anaphylaxis) HCEDQ (Health Care Education, Delivery and Quality) MAAI (Mechanisms of Asthma and Allergic Inflammation) RSOD (Rhinitis, Sinusitis and Ocular Diseases) As a speaker, you are responsible for . . . Development of a presentation appropriate to the specific topic identified. Your presentation should be designed for the target audience described and should contribute directly to the learning objective identified for your presentation. You are also responsible for providing balanced information that is free of commercial bias. Attendance at the entire session. To help ensure that the session runs smoothly, your presence is required for its entire duration. We ask our speakers to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to session starting time. Presentation Information for Interest Section Forum speakers. . . An uplink Web site will be available for you to submit your presentation prior to the 2005 AAAAI Annual Meeting. Instructions for finding and logging on to this site will be forwarded to you in the near future. The site will be open for approximately three weeks. After the site closes, your presentation must be carried to the meeting, and brought to the Speaker Ready Room 24 hours prior to your talk. All electronic files must be submitted using one of the software formats listed below: PowerPoint XP or earlier version PDF Reader: Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Video Playback: Windows Media Player 9; Quick-Time 6 Even if you have submitted your presentation in advance, you should plan to bring the latest version of your presentation to the meeting on one of the following media as a safety back-up for your talk. (If you have not submitted your presentation prior to the meeting, use these same choices of media to carry your presentation to San Antonio ). You must check into the speaker ready room on-site even if you do not plan to make changes to your presentation – so that we will know you have arrived, and can give you your speaker packet.
