19th Annual Harold S. Nelson Allergy & Immunology Symposium

Pre-registration and ticket required. Attendees without tickets, guests and exhibitors will not be admitted. No fee. Breakfast and lunch included.
Planning Group: Military Allergy Assembly

Programmed by the AAAAI. Funded through an unrestricted educational grant from Aventis Pharmaceuticals.

This day-long symposium planned by the AAAAI Military Allergy Committee is held in conjunction with the AAAAI Annual Meeting and provides a forum for Army, Navy, Air Force and public health service allergists/immunologists to discuss issues unique to their community, while integrating into the AAAAI and the specialty at-large.

Target Audience: Active duty military allergist/immunologists and Fellows-In-Training, reserve component allergist/immunologists, retired military allergist/immunologists, allergist/immunologists who have left the military before retirement, support staff personnel affiliated with military allergy/immunology clinics, civilian providers treating military patients or their dependents, and military or ROTC medical students.

Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to: a) Discuss military experience with smallpox and anthrax vaccines; b) Discuss future vaccine development in the military; c) Address policy issues and unique challenges facing Uniformed Services Allergists/Immunologists.

The AAAAI Military Allergy Committee invites all registered attendees of the 2005 Military Allergy Program to attend this evening event with a guest. Admission to this event is by Military Allergy name badge only. Badges will be distributed on site in the participant packets.
