Preliminary Program
Chrysalis Project
Programmed by the AAAAI. Funded through an unrestricted educational grant from the Allergy Educational Forum.
The Chrysalis Project was developed to increase medical student knowledge about the pathogenesis and treatment of common allergic and immunologic disease, to increase student awareness of training programs in allergy and immunology and to introduce promising students to a field that represents an exciting option in medical education.
This project will send select medical students to the Annual Meeting to be paired with experienced Fellow-In-Training mentors. These mentors will meet with the students to answer any questions they have about the specialty and will guide them through the educational sessions and events at the Annual Meeting.
Student selection is based on research experience, publications, presentations and a career goals statement. A stipend will be provided for the travel and accommodation expenses.
For further information regarding the Chrysalis Project, please contact Reaca Pearl at (414) 272-6071 or rpearl@aaaai.org.
