Exhibit Booth Guidelines
Booth Construction
Standard booths are one hundred square feet (100 ft2), ten feet (10') wide by ten feet (10') deep, unless otherwise noted. Each in-line or corner booth will be equipped with:
- a standard eight foot (8') draped back wall
- three foot (3') draped side rails
- a seven inch (7”) by forty-four inch (44”) sign with the company name and booth number
In-Line or Corner Booth
Exhibit fixtures, components and identification signs will be permitted to a maximum height of eight feet (8'). All display fixtures more than four feet (4') in height and placed within ten feet (10') of an adjoining exhibit must be at least four feet (4') from the aisle line to avoid blocking the sight line from the aisle to the adjoining booth.Island Booth
Exhibit fixtures, components and identification signs will be permitted to a maximum height of thirty-three feet (33'). Since an island booth is separated by the width of an aisle from all neighboring booths, full use of the booth area is permitted. If a booth is planned to be multi-level, the exhibitor is required to discuss these plans with Freeman.Carpet, Colors and Cleaning
The exhibit hall has concrete floors and is not carpeted; therefore all exhibiting companies are required to carpet their booth space. Exhibitors may order carpet from Freeman or place their own carpet in their booth space. Aisle carpet will be provided by Freeman. The color of the carpet and the drapery will be blue. Booth cleaning is mandatory after move-in and is not included in the booth rental fee. Management may order daily cleaning if booth appearance is unsightly; the cost will be charged to the exhibitor.Floor Load Restrictions
There are no mandatory floor load restrictions in the exhibit hall. However, it is recommended that exhibitors do not exceed one hundred seventy-five pounds per square foot (175 lbs/ft2).Last Up, First Down Locations
Several booths may be designated as 'last-up, first-down' locations and will be indicated as such on the exhibit hall floor plan. These booths are generally near the freight entrances; therefore it is important to keep these areas clear during installation and dismantlement. An exhibitor assigned to such a location should have a booth that can be quickly installed and dismantled. These exhibitors will not be permitted to set up until 7:00 am, Saturday, March 19 and must tear down immediately at 3:00 pm, Monday, March 21.Security
The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), through its Off-Duty Employment Unit (ODEU), is the exclusive provider for all event security services at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Security will be provided throughout installation and dismantlement, as well as after daily exhibit hours. Neither the SAPD-ODEU, the AAAAI, Freeman, nor the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center is responsible for any loss or damage to exhibitor property..
