Allied Health Committees
- Allied Health Professionals Assembly
The Allied Health Professionals Assembly provides non-Annual Meeting learning opportunities for Allied Health professionals. In addition, its members review educational activities directly or jointly sponsored by the AAAAI to ensure compliance with California Board of Registered Nursing and Respiratory Therapist accreditation guidelines and applicability to the AAAAI's overall educational mission.- Allied Health Communications Committee
The Allied Health Communications Committee selects topics and solicits authors to write articles for AAAAI News and the AAAAI Web site.- Allied Health Annual Meeting Program Committee
The Allied Health Annual Meeting Program Committee plans and implements continuing education activities for healthcare professionals who assist with, and provide care or education to, persons with allergies, asthma and immunologic diseases.- Allied Health Membership Committee
The Allied Health Membership Committee strives to increase Allied Health membership in the AAAAI and develop member benefit programs.

Allied Health members of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology play an integral role in providing optimal patient care.History
Allied health is the fastest growing segment of the AAAAI membership with over 700 members, established in 1990.Members
Persons engaged in the field of Allergy/Immunology or a related field, in patient care, in a technical or administrative capacity, or who work in research laboratories are eligible for membership as an Allied Health Member. Examples include registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), physician’s assistants (PAs), allergy technicians, pharmaceutical employees, technologists or research associates.
