Christopher Randolph, MD, FAAAAI, elected to AAAAI Board of Directors MIAMI BEACH – Christopher Randolph, MD, FAAAAI, joined the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology's (AAAAI's) Board of Directors during its 2006 Annual Meeting in Miami Beach, FL. The AAAAI is the largest professional medical specialty organization in the United States representing allergists, asthma specialists, clinical immunologists, allied health professionals and others with a special interest in the research and treatment of allergic disease. Dr. Randolph is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at Yale Division of Allergy in 90% private practice with the Center for Allergy, Asthma and Immunology in Waterbury and Southbury, CT. He is co-director of St. Mary's Allergy Clinic affiliated with Yale. He attended the University of Rochester for his undergraduate and medicine programs in Pediatrics, and completed his Allergy/Immunology Fellowship at State University of New York at Buffalo . He has been awarded yearly teaching awards in the 1990s and 2000s at the regional pediatric program in Waterbury as well as state and national awards for practice. He is a former treasurer and president of the New England Allergy Society and the current treasurer of the Connecticut Allergy Society. At the national level he has been a member of the ACAAI House of Delegates, Chair of the AAAAI Sports Medicine Committee, and member of the AAAAI Latex and Public Education Committees. He is a former RSL Governor of Region 1 for two terms. Currently he is the vice chair of the ADT Interest Section and member of the Annual Meeting Program Committee. His publications include over 30 abstracts, reviews and original publications in different journals including the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Allergy Proceedings and Annals as well as a book chapter. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Asthma responsible for monthly journal reviews, Pediatric Allergy/Immunology, and Allergy Proceedings. He has been a frequent speaker at the ACAAI and AAAAI on sports medicine, as well as at AAP and AAPA. Established in 1943, the AAAAI has more than 6,300 members in the United States , Canada and 75 other countries.
