I would like to know if a historical pollen count for the last 20 years is available. Thank you.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Since you are writing from Boise, Idaho, I assume that you are interested in pollen counts from that area. I am sending your request to the Chair of the Academy’s Aerobiology Committee, Dr. Warren V. Filley. When I hear from Dr. Filley, I will forward his response to you.

Thank you again for your inquiry.

Phil Lieberman, M.D.

We have received a response from Dr. Warren Filley. Thank you again for your inquiry and we hope this response is helpful to you.

Phil Lieberman, M.D.

Response from Dr. Warren Filley:
The AAAAI has access to a number of years of data through the National Allergy Bureau data base. It only is available from those centers who contribute data and for those years they have operated. For example, my station has contributed data since the early 1990's when I helped create the network for the Academy. There are no stations for Boise so therefore no data. The only 2 stations in Idaho are Coeur d' Alene (since 2003) and Twin Falls (since 2009). Neither are close to Boise and therefore of no use in that area. There are differences from my station at the medical center and Dr. Tarpay's at Mercy Hospital about 15 miles away. We see huge differences between Tulsa and OKC.
