Venom immunotherapy not contraindication with anticoagulant

Question:

13 year-old patient on venom IT shots for generalized hives and wheezing (has intermittent asthma). He has developed a blood clot in leg and is starting anticoagulant. Should the VIT injections be continued?

Answer:

Then 2016 Stinging Insect Hypersensitivity Practice Parameter mentions safety considerations for venom immunotherapy is generally the same as for aeroallergen immunotherapy. The Allergen Immunotherapy 2010 Practice Parameters do not mention anticoagulation as a contraindication with venom immunotherapy.
