Issues Relating to Self-injection of Epinephrine

Summary
This is a review article which deals elegantly and concisely with issues surrounding filling prescriptions for self-injectable epinephrine in the outpatient setting. The author defines the problems associated with self-injectable epinephrine in terms of patients failing to keep it with them and failing to use it. It also deals with suboptimal injection sites and the possible lack of appropriate dosage ranges.
